On your trip to Morocco you cannot miss a visit to one of the most incredible natural enclaves on the entire African continent, the Ouzoud Waterfalls.
Considered one of the most important green areas in the country, there you will find a magical setting on the way to the Atlas Mountains. You will be impressed by the climate and the tranquility that is breathed there. Our adventure begins in Marrakech, from here we will prepare to travel the approximately 160 kilometers that separate us from the falls, in the gorge of the Megum Geo-Park.
If we can assure you of one thing, it is that the landscapes that we will enjoy from the moment we sit in the car are spectacular! A succession of majestic valleys, fields that will impress you and the gorges known as the Río de Plata.
Shortly before reaching Ouzoud, we will make a stop to rest and refresh before resuming the journey to this charming town. There you will find the highest and most monumental waterfalls in North Africa, with 110 meters high. Ouzoud comes from the Berber word that means "olive" and refers to the Olive Trees that we will be able to see. We are not going to miss anything of the beautiful waterfalls and their surroundings.
After this walk, we will have free time to eat something in one of the restaurants in the area, continue discovering the Megum Geo-Park or climb back to the top of the falls. A landscape of maximum beauty in which, in addition, you will contemplate the wild life that is found there. You will admire a wonderful environment that has the imperial Atlas Mountains in the background.
