Excursion to Ouarzazate and Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou

This time, starting from Marrakech, one of the most magical cities in Morocco, we will go to two other municipalities that perfectly represent the essence, culture and tradition within the country, Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate.
We will do it together with an expert guide, who will discover every detail of the places we will visit. Along the impressive road that will take us to these two towns, we will also get to know other of the most magical corners of Morocco.
One of them in the charming village of Ait Ben Barka, a short distance from Toufliht, one of the green places in the country. From there we will head towards Tizi n'Tichka. Although at first you will only find a place crossed by several roads, you should know that this is the highest pass in North Africa. It has a total of 2,260 meters high, so you can already imagine the impressive landscape that is there and the spectacular panoramic views that you will have of the area.
And this moment will be in which we will head towards a movie destination. And never better said, because Ouarzazate is also known as the 'Hollywood of Africa'. There we will find film studios where some of the highest grossing and well-known movies and series in history have been filmed, such as Asterix, Cleopatra or The Ten Commandments. We are going to have the opportunity to visit one of them, although its entrance is not included in the excursion.
Ouarzazate is also known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. But instead of going into the heat and sand of the desert, what we are going to do is go to one of the restaurants with the best panoramic views in the area.
Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch with the best local products, so that your palate will also be one of the great beneficiaries of this experience. The price of this meal is not included in the tour.
After regaining strength, the last stop on our tour will be at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a few kilometers from Ouarzazate. This is a town also known within the film industry, since it was the setting for films such as Lawrence of Arabia or Gladiator. The amount to pocket to enter the Kasbah is not included.
But apart from the big screen, this is, for many, the town that best preserves Moroccan tradition, something that earned it the UNESCO World Heritage Site award.
