Itinerary
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Rabat
Pick up at Casablanca airport. Visit to the Hassan II Mosque. Departure to Rabat. Visit of the city of Rabat and the monuments: Citadel of the Oudaias, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
On the way to Meknés, we border the Mamora forest. Arrival in Meknés, a city that reached its peak thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. 27 km from Meknes are the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, and also visit the holy city Moulay Idriss.Continuation to Fez. Dinner and overnight in Riyadh.
Day 3: Fes (City Tour)
Free day in FEZ. Upon entering the streets of its medina (ancient city) we will feel that time is going back: the union structure is still present at work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow any other means of transport than donkeys and a constant swarm of people moves through the labyrinthine alleys in the middle of which we will be surprised by neighborhoods such as the Andalusian neighborhood and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with study and religion, and continues to be the spiritual capital of Morocco. After visiting the medina, another option is to wander aimlessly through the streets of Fez-Jdid, where the royal palace, the mellah (Jewish quarter) and the oldest mosque in Fez are located. Accommodation in a hotel according to the selected hotel category.
Day 4: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Valley De ZIZ – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, departure to Midelt passing through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. I pass through Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important craft center specializing in cedar wood work. After the Zad pass (2178m/7146ft), we will arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we will descend towards Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees. Continuation towards the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and night at a hotel in Merzouga according to the selected hotel category.
Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – DAKAR Route – Merzouga
This will be a stage where after breakfast, we will go through another of the tracks that they used in the "Paris-Dakar Rally", visiting desert nomads with whom we will have tea and we will see the oasis where some films such as "Sahara" were filmed, starring by Penelope Cruz. We will visit the town of "the blacks", named after the slave trade that they brought from the Sudan. And after eating we will change the traction of the 4×4 for that of animal traction. The dromedaries will take us into the dune desert to be able to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. This night will be special, we will sleep in the dunes in nomadic tents (Jaimas), as the Berbers do. Here we will enjoy a Berber dinner, music and a starry sky like you have never seen before. Dinner and accommodation in the unforgettable Jaima.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Gorges
We will get up a little early to climb the dunes before sunrise, a spectacle like no other. An interesting Excursion that we can do on foot or by camel. After breakfast we leave again in the 4×4 to explore the hammada (stone desert), where from time to time dunes and palm trees appear, small oases where life takes shape. In little more than 2 hours you will reach Tinerhir, the leafiest oasis in the south, from where you can access the Todra Gorges. Time for walks through the oasis, contemplating its crops and irrigation systems, and to go through part of the Gorges on a unique path. Dinner and night in a hotel according to the selected hotel category.
Day 7: Dades Gorges – Valley of the Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate
We will continue along the route of the Kasbahs, being able to deviate towards the interior of the Dades Valley; we will find some of the most beautiful kasbahs in Skoura. After leaving Ouarzazate behind, we will head towards Aït Benhaddou, one of the largest kasbahs in the entire south, which maintains some well-preserved parts thanks to the fact that it has become the setting for many movies. We will sleep in a hotel right in front of the kasbah, so that we can visit it calmly and outside the hours of greatest influx of visitors. Dinner and hotel accommodation near the kasbah Ait Benhaddou.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Teloute – Alto – Marrakech
The trip is a succession of strengths. Today's day is another one of them. The 200 km that separate Ouarzazate from Marrakech run through the High Atlas. The road must be traveled slowly, due to its beauty and because it is a mountain pass that crosses the Atlas at almost 2,300m. To round off the spectacularity of the day, we will make our way following the old caravan route that linked the two cities through the Ounila Valley, where there are kasbahs built in caves and that will also take us to Telouet. Finally, arrival in Marrakech. Accommodation in a hotel according to the selected hotel category.
Day 9: Visit of Marrakech
Free day in Marrakech, a city famous for its Jemaa el Fna square, which will occupy a large part of our time: an unrepeatable amalgamation of aromas, sounds and sensations. The city also has endless places to wander and enjoy: the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks through the medina or the mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the tour of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with its western ways of life. Accommodation according to selected hotel category.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca – Airport
Transfer to the Airport according to flight schedule and departure from Marrakech to Casablanca Airport. End of our services.
